I write only because there is a voice within me that will not be still.
Sylvia Plath
PSI’s modest team of writers and poets have persevered silently to nurture their inner voices. They have battled with uncertainty, eagerly redrafted, passionately argued, worried senselessly, and laughed hysterically on the journey that has led to this moment. It’s with great pride that we share with you the first issue of PSI’s online literary magazine.
Our request is simple:
Stir your inner voices through Vasileios’ lament on Kashmir and laugh with us through Omar’s satirical take on dystopian fiction. Reflect on what courage is, and what it means to love and lose in Lyan and Nayli’s poems. Awaken your inner child through Zhansaya’s haunting portrayal of a monster. Ponder over the cliff hanger ending in Ramla’s subverted fairytale and finally, muse over Mubashir’s essay on what happiness means to him.
We hope you enjoy reading as much as we have enjoyed writing.
